Privacy
policy.

Effective date: October 21, 2026

A&B Gemological Services LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains how information is collected and used when you visit aandbgemologicalservices.com, subscribe to auction updates, or contact us through the links on this website.

Information we collect

When you subscribe, we collect your email address, the date and time of signup, and a record of your consent and signup source. If you contact us by email or telephone, we receive the contact details and other information you choose to provide.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times to deliver and protect the website. The signup system also uses a temporary hashed identifier derived from your IP address to limit repeated submissions.

How we use information

We use information to maintain our subscriber list, send requested auction announcements and highlights, respond to inquiries, operate the website, prevent spam and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, storage, security, business email, and delivery of auction updates. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, customers, or website.

We do not sell or rent email addresses collected through this website or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and tracking

Our hosting and security services may use cookies needed to deliver the website and help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. The website does not currently include advertising pixels or a third-party audience analytics tool.

The website does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Because we do not sell or share website information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no such activity for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of. Third-party websites you visit through our links have their own tracking practices and policies.

Your browser stores your acknowledgment of our privacy notice so it does not appear on every visit. This preference is stored locally and is not submitted to our subscriber database. You can clear it using your browser’s site-data settings.

Your choices and requests

You may ask to review, correct, or delete information you provided, or ask to stop receiving auction updates, by emailing contact@aandbgemologicalservices.com or calling (213) 856-8335. Please identify the email address associated with your request. If an auction email includes an unsubscribe link, you may use that link as well.

Depending on applicable law, additional privacy rights may be available to you. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and may retain information where required or permitted by law.

Retention and security

Subscriber records are retained while needed to manage your subscription, unless you request removal, subject to any applicable recordkeeping requirements. Temporary signup-limit records expire hourly and are cleaned up during subsequent signup activity. Other correspondence and technical records may be retained as needed for their purpose, security, or legal obligations.

The website uses encrypted HTTPS connections and access controls to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee complete security.

Auction platforms and external links

Bidding, bidder registration, and payment arrangements take place through the linked auction platforms or directly with our team. This website does not provide a checkout or collect payment-card details. HiBid, iCollector, BidSpirit, and other external services have their own privacy policies, which you should review when using them.

Policy updates

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Please revisit this page to review the current policy.
